Stephan Guertler is the managing editor of the Austrian publication Extra Golf and the editor-in-chief of the magazine’s website.
He is also a contributing writer for www.worldgolf.com where he has his own blog.
Stephan has been writing about golf for more than a decade. He is on a mission to play the Top 100 golf courses in the United States. He’s played more than 50 so far.
Being an avid traveler, he has visited golf clubs on five continents and in more than 25 countries. He interned at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore., and at the famed Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, S.C.
Stephan is based in Vienna, but usually travels to the United States to play golf four to five times a year. He is a member of the Golf Writers Association of America.
