Debert Cook, CMP is publisher of the African American Golfer’s Digest, the nation’s leading publication for avid black golfers.
The full color, 40-page, quarterly magazine debuted in the spring of 2003 and is distributed nationwide to over 80,000 readers by subscription and drop-shipped by request to over 250-plus top, black-focused golf events nationwide.
The magazine has been featured in Crain’s New York Business, Black Enterprise, Ebony magazine and The Network Journal.
Ms. Cook holds an Associate degree in Music Business from Georgia State University in Atlanta; a certificate in Radio and Television Broadcast Production from the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Detroit, Michigan; a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Youngstown State University in Ohio and a Master of Arts degree in Liberal Studies/History from the City University of New York and serves as an adjunct professor in art history at the South Bronx campus of The College of New Rochelle, NY.
