Joey Johnson is the publisher & editor-in-chief of Southern Fairways magazine and the director of the Southern Fairways Golf Tour.

Southern Fairways is a print and digital golf lifestyle publication distributed throughout the Southeast. Each issue features stay-and-play golf destinations, product reviews, instructional articles, and personality profiles. In addition to the magazine, Southern Fairways operates several state and regional golf course directories, including AlabamaGolfGuide.com, MississippiGolfGuide.com, FLGolfGuide.com, and GulfShoresGolfGuide.com.

The Southern Fairways Golf Tour provides a fun and competitive atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels through its annual series of tournaments. Established in 2017, the tour hosts events in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi, with fields often exceeding 100 players.

Joey is passionate about promoting the game of golf and helping golfers discover incredible courses and destinations. He and his wife, Lisa, reside on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
