Susan R. Pollack is an award-winning freelance travel writer and photographer with decades of experience. She worked 36-plus years as a staff writer and travel writer at The Detroit News before taking a buyout in 2012. She has freelanced for the Dallas News, Toronto Star, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Delta Sky, Golf for Women, Midwest Living, Lakeland Boating, Jetsetter (HK), Michigan Blue and Long Weekends.
