Golf Event Set for America’s Cup Race
Love sailing? Love golf? Love Bermuda? Then your chance to combine all three comes June 1-7 when the “Race to Bermuda Golf Tournament,” a two-person competition, heads to Bermuda to coincide with racing for the 35th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup on Bermuda’s Great Sound.
The “Race to Bermuda Golf Tournament” will be contested on Tucker’s Point Golf Club, Turtle Hill Golf Club, Port Royal Golf Club and the famed Mid Ocean Club. Formats in the competition will include Foursomes, Best Ball Stableford, Best Ball Stroke Play and Combined Stableford.
The $2,999 package includes double-occupancy lodging at the Fairmont Southampton, welcome cocktails, one optional practice round, four tournament rounds, transfers, awards dinner and tickets to the official America’s Cup spectator boat and grandstand to view the world’s most prestigious sailboat race.
