The Glacier Club, an exclusive resort community north of Durango, Colo., has opened a new 18-hole members-only golf course that designers Hale Irwin and Todd Schoeder say posed serious engineering challenges.
Multiple Grammy nominee Michael Martin Murphey performed a private concert for about 250 members and guests during the course’s Labor Day weekend opening. Dancers from the Southern Ute Indian Tribe blessed the course before Irwin hit the ceremonial first tee shot. More
